TopSolid presents at Interplast its line of CAD/CAM/PDM solutions aimed at integrating engineering and manufacturing processes. With systems consolidated in the market, the company demonstrates how the continuous evolution of platforms expands resources, functionalities and performance, meeting the demands of increasingly complex industrial environments.

At its booth, TopSolid also exhibits the solutions of the German company Simcon, of which it is a representative in Brazil. The proposal is to show how the integration between software connects design, engineering, simulation, manufacturing and production management in a single digital environment. With this, the data remains centralized and communication failures between areas are reduced, since the entire workflow operates with consistent and up-to-date information throughout the production stages.

One of the main benefits of working with integrated digital technologies is the ability to anticipate problems even in the design phase. Virtual simulation of product behavior, mold, and injection process allows for the identification of inconsistencies that, in traditional methods, would only be noticed during physical testing or already in production. This anticipation contributes to the reduction of rework, waste of raw materials, setup time, and operational costs.

TOPSOLID’S DIGITAL TECHNOLOGYS ARE INTEGRATED WITH INTELLIGENCE

The integrated digital technology presented by TopSolid is aligned with the concept of an Integrated Digital Factory, where all stages of the production process are intelligently connected. The combination of TopSolid’s CAD, CAE, CAM, PDM, and ERP platforms with Simcon’s Varimos and Cadmould software creates a unified environment that accompanies the complete product cycle, from conception to manufacturing.

This integrated workflow allows analyses, simulations, and validations to be performed in a virtual environment, reducing dependence on physical prototypes and empirical testing. With this, companies gain more control over deadlines, costs, and quality, as well as greater predictability in results.

Another relevant aspect of integrated digital technology is the standardization of information throughout the process. With centralized and traceable data, teams can work collaboratively, avoiding rework caused by outdated project versions or communication failures between departments. Decision-making becomes faster and more assertive, based on reliable indicators and consistent analyses.

The solutions serve companies of all sizes, but offer particularly strategic support for small and medium-sized industries in the plastics sector, such as converters, mold manufacturers, and toolmakers. For this audience, the proposal is to enable the adoption of advanced technologies in a practical and accessible way, without increasing the complexity of internal processes. Digitization becomes an ally of productivity, not an operational obstacle.

SOFTWARE DIFFERENTIALS

Varimos plays a fundamental role by allowing the optimization of mold designs through the validation of different configurations. The tool makes it possible to analyze multiple scenarios in an automated way, reducing development time and costs associated with late design changes. Cadmould, on the other hand, simulates the behavior of plastic during the injection process, helping to prevent defects, improve the quality of parts, and increase production predictability.

The integration between digital technologies creates an environment where engineering and production work in sync, reducing risks and increasing the overall efficiency of the operation. This competitive advantage is especially relevant in a market increasingly pressured by short deadlines, reduced margins, and growing quality demands.

In addition to operational gains, the integrated technology of TopSolid and Simcon directly contributes to reducing environmental impacts. By allowing virtual validation of designs, molds, and injection processes even in the engineering phase, the software reduces the need for physical testing, excessive consumption of raw materials, and the generation of scrap.
