Vegetable Plasticizers and Thermal Stabilizers are brought by Inbra to Interplast

Inbra arrives at Interplast 2026 presenting innovative solutions for the PVC market, highlighting phthalate-free vegetable plasticizers, thermal stabilizers, and the expansion of already consolidated lines. At the booth, the public will be able to learn about products developed for demanding applications, such as wires and cables and the hospital area, in addition to solutions aimed at the packaging industry, civil construction, among other segments.

With the aim of promoting the use of sustainable alternatives in PVC processing, the company presents plasticizers developed from vegetable raw materials, aligned with global trends in replacing petroleum-derived inputs. This evolution meets both regulatory demands and the expectations of consumers and industries seeking more environmentally responsible solutions. In addition to plasticizers, Inbra also highlights its calcium and zinc-based thermal stabilizers from the Plastabil® line, developed to offer high performance with excellent cost-effectiveness. These products are positioned as efficient alternatives to traditional technologies, guaranteeing thermal stability without compromising performance.

Vanessa Rossi, marketing coordinator at Inbra, says that the company’s presence at the fair is a strategic opportunity to reinforce Inbra’s commitment to safer and more sustainable solutions. “We are bringing technologies that meet the new demands of the market, without sacrificing performance and competitiveness,” she says.

INBRA’S VEGETABLE PLASTICIZERS AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR PVC GAIN PROMINENCE

Inbra’s participation in Interplast highlights the industry’s movement to expand the use of more sustainable and safe solutions in polymer processing. In this context, plant-based plasticizers gain prominence, especially because they are free of phthalates and heavy metals.

The DRAPEX line, composed of secondary plasticizers based on epoxidized soybean oil, is one of the solutions presented. This product offers excellent plasticization and thermal stability, in addition to high compatibility with other plasticizers. Furthermore, it has low volatility and aids in weather resistance, contributing to the maintenance of product color over time.

Another relevant point of the DRAPEX line is its application in products that come into contact with food, highlighting the safety and reliability of the solution. This factor expands the possibilities of use and meets an increasingly demanding market in terms of the quality and conformity of materials.

The Inbraflex® line also stands out at the fair, with plasticizers based on epoxidized vegetable oil esters. These products act as co-stabilizers, improving thermal stability and ensuring excellent performance in different applications.

Among its main characteristics are resistance to extraction and migration, comparable to that of primary plasticizers, as well as durability and the ability to maintain the material’s properties for longer. This combination of factors results in efficient and competitive solutions for applications such as coatings, stretch films, and shrink films.

SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS

Another important launch presented by Inbra is the Plastabil® line of thermal stabilizers for PVC, based on calcium and zinc. These products were developed to meet the growing demand for solutions free of heavy metals, offering high technical performance combined with a competitive cost.

The company also presents specific stabilizers for high-fill-content linings, a solution much sought after by the industry. These products allow for greater processing efficiency and contribute to the final quality of the materials, meeting applications that require resistance and durability.

All Inbra products are developed from renewable plant-based sources, which reduces environmental impact and contributes to the preservation of natural resources.
