Krisoll Launches Engineering Resins and Expands its High-Performance Portfolio

At another edition of Interplast, Krisoll is launching a line of special materials and masterbatches, expanding its portfolio of high-performance engineering resins. The masterbatches and functional additives are designed to provide specific properties to polymers, such as antistatic and slip characteristics, and improvements in process performance. These launches directly impact industrial productivity, allowing for greater processing control, reduced losses, and better finishing of final products.

According to Erica Tronci Bayarri, from Krisoll’s Marketing department, the presence at Interplast reinforces the company’s strategic positioning in the market. “Our focus is to show that technical innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand and generate real value for the industry,” she says.

In addition to expanding its line of masterbatches and additives, Krisoll highlights the incorporation of new thermoplastics into its portfolio of special materials, such as TPU, PETG, and EVOH. These materials serve a variety of technical applications, including technical packaging, industry, filaments for 3D printing, and special solutions that require specific barrier properties, flexibility, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability.

SUSTAINABILITY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF KRISOLL ENGINEERING RESINS

Kristoll also demonstrates its environmental commitment, one of the pillars that guide the development of its engineering resins. Among the main differentiators is Carbon Offsetting, carried out through carbon credit certificates that guarantee the neutralization of emissions generated in its operations. This initiative reinforces the company’s alignment with the sustainable practices demanded by the global market and by increasingly responsible production chains.

Kristoll develops the Akvo Program aimed at reducing and offsetting emissions, strengthening the company’s journey towards a more efficient, transparent, and environmentally responsible operation. These actions are added to the development of materials that contribute to more efficient industrial processes, with better use of resources and less waste generation.

In the field of quality and reliability, Krisoll holds IATF and ISO 9001 certifications. The IATF certification meets the rigorous standards of the automotive sector, ensuring traceability, process control, and a high level of technical requirements. ISO 9001 guarantees the standardization and continuous improvement of production processes, reinforcing the consistency and safety of the materials supplied.

CONSOLIDATED ENGINEERING PLASTICS IN THE MARKET

Kristoll’s presence at Interplast also highlights its consolidated portfolio of engineering plastics, developed for applications that require high technical performance. Among the main products presented are the SOLLAMID® A line, made of Polyamide 66, indicated for applications that demand high mechanical and thermal resistance, and SOLLAMID® B, made of Polyamide 6, which offers good impact resistance and wide versatility of use.

Another highlight is SOLLAFORM®, a polyacetal (POM) recognized for its excellent dimensional stability, low friction, and reliability in technical applications. The company also presents the KMID line, composed of sustainable polyamides developed with post-industrial and post-consumer material, combining technical performance and reduced environmental impact, in a proposal that unites technology and sustainability.

In the special materials segment, Krisoll showcases solutions such as ULTRAMID®, high-performance polyamides with superior strength and processability, as well as TIE LAYER, an adhesive resin widely used in multilayer films, especially in food packaging. Masterbatches complete the portfolio, offering additives that confer specific functional properties to polymers, expanding their application possibilities.
