Raw materials showcased meet market demand for Sustainability and Innovation

The 13th edition of Interplast – Fair and Congress of Plastic Technology Integration, organized by Messe Brasil, from August 25 to 28, 2026, in Joinville-SC, brings together global and national suppliers of raw materials for the plastic transformation industry. The solutions meet the market demand for innovative and sustainable technologies.

Eco Ventures presents Go Green P-Life, a Japanese technology internationally recognized for its effectiveness in the biodegradation of plastics and in combating the formation of microplastics. The pro-degradant additive, developed from coconut oil fatty acid, transforms naphtha-derived polymers, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PET and polystyrene, into oxo-biodegradable materials, allowing their subsequent assimilation by natural microorganisms. The major differentiator lies in the most recent research results conducted by Dr. Kenji Miyamoto of Keio University, which have proven the ability of bacteria present in the soil and marine environment to degrade plastics with P-Life.

Total PET showcases a consolidated, recognized portfolio that is fully aligned with current market demands for high-performance sustainable solutions. Recycled PET flakes are recognized for their versatility; these sustainable solutions are used in the production of new packaging, varnishes, fibers for ropes and textiles, sheets, technical parts, and various other plastic artifacts. Recycled polypropylene granules stand out for their quality and stability, fundamental characteristics for their application in demanding segments. They are widely used in the production of automotive components, household utensils, and toys. Food-grade PCR PET granules were developed for applications requiring complete safety and legal compliance. They are 100% recycled, approved by ANVISA (Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency), and fully comply with current legislation, including Federal Decree 12,688 of October 21, 2025.
