Amid logistical challenges as a result of the heavy rains that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul in May, the long-awaited Circular Economy Forum is adjusting its sails in a new direction. Originally planned to take place in Canela (RS) in July, the event was transferred to Joinville (SC) and will be held during Interplast, on the 14th and 15th of August.
The Circular Economy Forum, nationally recognized for its contribution to the advancement of sustainable practices, maintains its commitment to the southern region of Brazil, covering Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. The change of location is a response to the need to ensure the continuity of this important event, even in the face of the temporary challenges faced by Rio Grande do Sul.
“Although we have faced some obstacles on our journey, our determination to promote the circular and sustainable economy remains firm”, comments Melina Gonçalves, coordinator of the Forum. “We are grateful to the warm hospitality of Joinville and the Interplast team for welcoming us. We look forward to sharing two days of inspiring and collaborative debates in this new environment”, adds Melina.
The Circular Economy Forum during Interplast promises to be an unmissable meeting for professionals, academics and thought leaders committed to the sustainable future of the South region and the country as a whole. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practices and explore innovative solutions to the challenges facing the circular economy.
The Forum is promoted by Revista Plástico Sul in conjunction with the Plastic Circularity Network and the co-organization of Sinplast-RS. Register here.
