The bimetallic application is a distinguished feature of Roscan and may be applied to the totality or part of the threads and to the cylinder, resulting greater resistance to abrasion and corrosion from the application of the alloys indicated to each process. For processes of highly abrasive materials or with a high load, the company makes the application, making threads and cylinders highly bimetallic, thus assuring greater resistance and durability, which is also related to an improvement of the geometry of the spindles. The partial application allows the manufacture of sets with the bimetallic layer only in the area with the greatest need, thus improving the performance of the products and reducing costs of the application.
Roscan also offers recovery services of single and double thread spindles, seaming of broken spindles, opening of grooves to increase plasticization, recovery of damaged thread crests, and loosening of spindles in the cylinder. In the restoration works of the single thread cylinders, we use the processes of burnishing, nitration, and polishing, and for the repair works of double thread cylinders the nitration and polishing processes are used.
