The great differential of this product is to make the automatic control of the air flow by mechanical elements that are positioned automatically. The gains of this system include the reduction in the use of raw materials, chips and machine downtime.
Technically, the thickness correction process in the SmartLip air ring is done through the internal movement of the elements that control the flow of cooled air. This differential benefits geometry regulation, balloon stability and thickness profile correction.
With the SmartLip air ring, the balloon takes longer to hit (flat) due to the special design of the lips. With this, the operator can make fine adjustments, speed up the extruder and even follow the thickness variation indexes indicated on the panel.
