Carbomil mining company takes to its stand at Interplast the newest product developed for the plastic and rubber industry: Secmil 500 Microfluid Desiccant Additive. The product is developed from the calcination of limestone rocks and grinding, with the differential of reacting quickly in water, and is soluble in acids and in ammonium salts.
The desiccant additive is highly reactive and ideal for the manufacture of LDPE and PP films. Among the advantages is the reduction of about 10% in the time of use of binders in the LDPE drying process. In the case of materials such as TPE, TPV and PP, depending on the amount of moisture present, recycling becomes more effective.
The use of the desiccant additive also increases productivity and has the longest shelf life on the market, and can be kept in stock for six months without losing its high efficiency. It is an ecologically correct solution and improves the finish of the pieces.
The desiccant additive is nothing more than a moisture sequestrant indicated for the production and recycling of thermoplastics, polyethylene films, masterbatch, rubber and plastisol, widely used in the plastic and rubber manufacturing market.
