Guided by the commitment to continue evolving in the adoption of the circular economy model and low carbon impact, promoting the growing use of post-consumer materials and valuing the recycling of plastic, actives defined the operating strategy, principles and applicable management guidelines ESG issues related to the business model and working with stakeholders.
Among other initiatives, the company neutralized its carbon emissions, with the exchange of 25 trucks for a new fleet, made up of Euro 5 standard models, recognized worldwide for their eco-efficiency and offsetting unavoidable emissions through the purchase of carbon credits, following the recommendations of Organs world bodies that control these indicators.
From the beginning, actives has had its identity marked by the characteristics of the material it distributes: plastic. Created in 1990, in São Paulo, it adapted to the market and expanded its activities through the construction of 11 units. Over the years, it has become more resistant through partnerships and acquisitions, such as the resins goodwill of Unipar Comercial, whose acquisition added 700 customers and 30 thousand tons to its volume, and the partnership with new suppliers.
