The complete portfolio of masterbatch solutions will be presented by Valmasterb at Interplast. The three main lines include carbonate compounds, white master and performance additives. Masterbatches are developed by Valmasterb in the most diverse formulations to serve the plastic processing industry for packaging.
Masterbatches – White Master
White masterbatch solutions cover a varied portfolio with different concentrations of TiO2, attributing greater adequacy and cost-effectiveness to the customer’s process. The dispersion capacity of TiO2, ensured by state-of-the-art equipment, provides high covering power, combined with the good visual appearance of the part. Valmasterb works with leading partners to ensure quality in the final application, as well as compliance with legislation for application in food packaging.
Masterbatches – Carbonate Compound
The calcium carbonate compound is an important raw material in the plastic packaging transformation market due to its high capacity to reduce costs. The high technology equipment and the process controls, allow exploring the application of the product in high concentrations, maintaining final properties of the packaging. Valmasterb works with world-class raw materials and carries the carbonate compound in PE, PP and PS, adapting the product to the final application.
Masterbatches – performance additives
Valmasterb has a variety of masterbatch additives that allow different characteristics to the packaging. The sliding additive is used to reduce and stabilize the friction coefficient on the packaging surface, protecting and optimizing the application process of the final product. The anti-blocking additive is used to prevent or reduce the blockage between two polymeric surfaces, facilitating the handling of the pieces, unwinding the film and opening the packages.
The antioxidant additive is used to inhibit or reduce the thermoxidative process of polymers during processing and to slow down the degradation of the final product. Valmasterb’s auxiliary flow additive is used to reduce the speed gradient of the molten polymer flow lines during processing. By reducing friction with the equipment’s flow channels, it improves the productivity and quality of the final product. And the antistatic additive is used to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charge on the surface of the final product.
